Dr. Zachary Altman, D.C., concentrates on treating musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries and disorders, which can result in pain stemming from the neck, lower back, shoulders, hips, and other parts of the body. There are many causes for these types of injuries and conditions, ranging from falls, strains, disc degeneration, whiplash, conditions such as pregnancy, and poor posture or gait. He also treats carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, headaches, and many other conditions. In addition to chiropractic care, we also offer massage therapy and have a medical doctor on staff.
Dr. Altman is a 2006 graduate of the prestigious National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. He received excellent training and education at NUHS, taking a wide variety of science, chiropractic, and health-related courses in addition to receiving training in Acupuncture and Physiology. Prior to attending NUHS, Dr. Altman received a B.A. in English from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and continued his education for two years at the University of South Florida in Tampa. In addition to receiving his D.C. from NUHS, Dr. Altman also earned a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and became certified in Meridian Therapy Acupuncture. He is a member of the Phi Sigma Theta national honor society, the Illinois Chiropractic Society, and the American Chiropractic Association. He is also a member of the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce.
