Bookkeeping Services
Meek Organizers, provides bookkeeping services to clients throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. We recognize that all companies are different, and we custom design the bookkeeping services we provide to meet your individual needs. The two levels of bookkeeping services described below serve as starting points to help you determine the level of bookkeeping services you require. I have a BS in Accounting with over 16 years of experience.
VERY BASIC BOOKKEEPING SERVICES
A list of the Very Basic Bookkeeping Services we provide follows:
• Input Transactions: We enter all your transactions into a QuickBooks file on a monthly basis.
• Assign Items to Appropriate Accounts: We assign all transactions to appropriate income and expense accounts.
• Reconciliation of Bank Statements: Your bank statements can be mailed directly to us or we come you.
• Financial Statements: Meek Organizers will provide monthly financial statements for your review as part of our basic bookkeeping services package.
• Assist with cost control: Based on our experience working with many customers, we will let you know if you appear to be paying too much for specific items or services.
• Year End Reports for Your Accountant: We will provide your accountant with the information they need to quickly and inexpensively prepare your taxes.
BASIC BOOKKEEPING SERVICES
Basic Bookkeeping Services include all services listed under Very Basic bookkeeping Services plus the following:
• Accounts Payable: We prepare your checks for signature and send them to you to sign and mail out.
• Accounts Receivable: Meek Organizers will invoice your customers and manage collection as necessary. Meek Organizers can receive your payments and deposit them directly into your bank account.
• Payroll: Meek Organizers will manage your payroll and maintain your payroll records.
• Assist with Cash Management: We will prepare collection letters for you to sign and send to your customers, and we will make sure your bills are paid on-time, but no earlier than necessary.
• Vendor and Customer Files: We will maintain vendor and customer files for all those you do business with.

Bio

Meek Organizers is owned and operated by Lisa McCants, a long time resident of the Washington, DC metropolitan area and Community Leader. Lisa is a graduate of Livingstone College with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. After being employed in the Government Accounting field for 15 + years, Lisa decided to fulfill the vision the Lord had gifted her with and stepped out on faith to form Meek Organizers. She wanted to apply her business knowledge and organizational skills to help clients with their day-to-day activities that cause them to try and cram 36 hours into a 24 hour day
