About
Neurofeedback is a drug free, noninvasive, painless, and safe form of therapy that has been available for over 30 years. Neurofeedback is the direct training of brain function, (Operant Conditioning) by which the brain learns to function more efficiently. We observe the brain in action from moment to moment. We show that information back to the person and we reward the brain for changing its own activity to more appropriate patterns. This is a gradual learning process. It applies to any aspect of brain function that we can measure. Neurofeedback is also called EEG biofeedback, because it is based on electrical brain activity, the electroencephalogram, or EEG. Neurofeedback is training in self-regulation. It is simply biofeedback applied to the brain directly. Self-regulation training allows the brain to function better.

We also offer Cranial Electro-Stimulation (CES) and Microcurrent Electrical Therapy.

Cranial Electrical Stimulation (CES) is a safe, FDA approved Complememntary Therapy for Anxiety and Depression. A safe non-drug approach to treat depression and anxiety. CES involves the introduction of a very weak electrical current into the brain. The device used is a Class IIa Type BF medical device generating microcurrent pulses that are thought to reach the brain directly via ear lobe stimulation with 42% reaching the cortex through a perineuroal or vascular pathway via the auditory meatus

Microcurrent Electrical Stimulation
MET is applied through easy to use probes or self-adhesive electrodes.Although a slight tingling sensation is sometimes felt under the electrodes. It is not necessary to feel this in order to achieve results
The Basic priniple behind MET is that the human body is an electromagnetic system; individual organs, tissues and cells generate different electrical frequencies that change with disease and injury. This technique incorporates various low voltage electrical frequencies, applied with specific procedures to injured tissues. Microcurrent Therapy helps return your body’s electrical current to a normal activity level by improving circulation, cell metabolism, protein and nutrient use and the release of endorphins. All these improvements reduce pain and inflammation, accelerate healing and help the body heal itself.
